Drawing on the rich, historic cultures of ecology and natural history in this country, my practice and research is interested in the Gondwanan rainforests of South East Australia where I create work. Graduating from this institution with a dual major in sculpture and photography, and with an Honours in film production from the Queensland College of Art, my work is interested in the shifting nature of documentary formats, the analogue image and the aesthetics of recording. As a writer I have recently been printed in The Conversation, Australian Geographic and Art Almanac among others.
